Getting "lured in" by friends

Being in advertising and doing graphic design is like being that guy with a pick-up truck on moving day. You're always willing to help a friend and the pay is usually some beer and pizza. We do it because we love 'em and it's about getting to hang out more than doing the work.

This project allowed me to connect with an old friend that had moved out of town. The only restriction was "make sure it is fun". We had a blast developing all of the concepts. The business took off and he sold it a few years later. Ironically, retirement did NOT lead to fishing!
